Then Buggy Beat is for you. Buggy Beat was created for all adults caring for little ones during the day, not just mums. Sessions suit all abilities and I help you exercise whether your little one is asleep, happily watching or having “one of those days.

Buggy Beat with Willing Spirit Exercise

 Outdoor small group training where baby comes along with you (in or out of the pushchair). Sessions are taken in my private outdoor enclosed space and includes warm up, cardio training, strength and flexibility. It’s the perfect way to exercise in a group having fun, with your little one close by.
Sessions are totally inclusive, not just for mums but dads, grandparents, guardians, brothers and sisters everyone who cares for a little one is welcome to join in as are adults without children.

What is Buggy Beat?

Buggy beat is the brainchild of Rachel Holmes, an International Fitness Educator, who after having her son wanted to join an outdoor cross training class, to keep fit, and meet other parents without the hassle of expensive childcare.

“Getting outside with the buggy in a group is so much fun and when you have a motivating Instructor it’s a class that you look forward to every week” says Rachel “There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong outfit and we go out in all weathers – we just wrap up and go for it!”

The link between regular exercise and positive mental health, increased productivity and efficiency is an amazing benefit, plus modelling to your little one how important regular exercise is is what makes Buggy Beat a win-win.

I started coming to buggy beat after having my daughter in 2018. I wanted to get my fitness back as well as meet some other mums. I have really enjoyed the sessions and have found that they have always worked for me and pushed me no matter where my fitness levels have been at. I am still attending after recently having my second child in lockdown. Jo and buggy beat have really helped and supported me over lockdown mentally and physically and would highly recommend Jo to anyone.
My 2 year old actually counts down the days to buggy beat every week, she loves it! X

Having a baby during the pandemic I felt like I had lost me to just being mummy except for my buggy beat sessions with Jo who made sure she learnt my name first and never referred to me as Ginny’s mummy.
Having half an hour each week as Jenny instead of mummy has helped keep me feeling like my own person! Thank you for all your hard work and giving me a love of exercise I’ve not had before.

How to Book?

We meet Mondays 10.00 am and Thursday at 9.15 amat my private enclosed outdoor space.
These small Group Training sessions are open for all Adults with or without children.

Pre-booking is essential and can even be on the morning of the session, just go to the Gymcatch site, search Willing Spirit Exercise, and you will be able to reserve and pay.  (If you require any help with this please contact me.) Please note, there is an online form to complete before your first session which will be emailed to you.
